Dear Valley Families,
Thank you so much for a wonderful 2011-2012. We've had a very successful school year, and we are looking very forward to another year of learning in 2012-2013.
I would like to let you know that I will be moving to Danville District 118 as Principal of Southwest Elementary School starting the 2012-2013 school year. I have had a fabulous experience here at Valley. The community is family oriented, student centered, and so willing to help out with anything we needed. I really appreciate all the support from every person I have met.
Thank you to our excellent faculty and staff. Valley has so much to be proud of the dedication and commitment everyone at school gives to help our students learn. Our faculty and staff education includes academics but also character and values. Thank you to all.
Finally, a special thank you to Mrs. Karey Schultz, our school secretary! We would not be able to function at all without Karey's patience, guidance, and minute by minute help! Mrs. Schultz is retiring after this year, and she will be greatly missed!
Thank you again, Valley!
Sincerely,
Julie Deignan, Principal
